Interpreting Electrical Diagrams & How to Use Them

Friday, November 15, 2024 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM CST

A one-line diagram, also known as a single-line diagram (SLD), is a simplified representation of an electrical system that uses symbols and lines to visualize the power distribution system. One-line diagrams provide vital information for planning, troubleshooting, designing, operating, and maintaining complex industrial power systems. They are often developed as part of an engineering study, such as arc flash studies or protective device coordination.

Join us for a FREE 1hr webinar as Caitlyn Wininger (CESCP) explains what the NFPA 70E and 70B require for one-line diagrams, how to read and effectively utilize them, and when to update them.

The NFPA 70E (2024) Article 110.4 requires all qualified electrical workers be trained on electrical safety-related work practices at intervals not to exceed 3 years. Understanding these practices and how to implement them in your life could be the difference between going home safely each day, or not.

The hazards of working on or around electrical equipment will always be a safety concern in our lives and on the job. Take your understanding of electrical safety to a new level with Electrical Safety Training that covers all the key concepts required by the NFPA 70E.
